Welcome Leanne Davis

Leanne Davis is here today to talk about her debut release POISON. Currently, POISON is selling exclusively on Amazon for Kindle on their KDP program, but will be distributed to other eBook retailers on July 5th, 2013. But, here's the great news ~You can download POISON free for your Kindle or Kindle app today thru May 11th~ And don't forget to return the favor by leaving a review.

Let's start right off by hearing more about POISON:

Blurb:
Cassie Reeves betrayed John Tyler a decade ago, but now, John is the only person Cassie can turn to for help protecting her son from her violent ex-husband. John’s quiet life as a small town doctor in Seaclusion, Washington has no place in it for Cassie, her son, or the feelings Cassie’s presence rekindles. John and Cassie’s mutual attraction reignites, despite everything that drove them apart a decade ago, and threatens to destroy them now. No matter how much Cassie has changed, and tried to right her past wrongs, there is no escaping her ex-husband. Cassie knows that only she can end what her ex-husband has started. But will she survive long enough to have a chance at the happiness that has escaped her for so long?

If that didn't give you enough goose bumps, have a look at this awesome cover!

Excerpt:
Cassie sighed and pushed the flowers onto the counter between them. She tidied her desk, avoiding his gaze. Finally she stood and gathered her things.
He watched her. He didn’t like hearing Tim was scared his mom wouldn’t come home from work. What kind of knowledge was that for a kid to have? Hell, he didn’t like that Cassie was scared that she wasn’t going to come home from work. He didn’t think anyone could fake the fear she had of the innocuous floral arrangement.
Cassie was just about to hustle past him, when he put a hand on her arm to stop her. She paused, looking at his hand, then up into his eyes. Her lips trembled. She quickly dropped her face from his view. She raised a hand to wipe at her cheeks. Tears?
Damn it all to hell. A stab of genuine sympathy filled him. He put a knuckle under her chin and forced her to look up him. Her eyes were glazed in moisture. She was trying not to cry. He swallowed, unsure why her efforts to hold back tears from him put a knot in his throat. Had he become so heartless with his anger that he couldn’t let her fear a man she seemed to think wanted to physically harm her?
“Cassie—”

That's the way to leave us hanging Leanne. Now you know we have to buy the book!

Here's were to get it~  Poison Free Here from Amazon

I think we're all ready to meet the author behind this great book. Tell us about yourself Leanne.

About me (Leanne Davis): I live in the rainy area of Seattle, Washington, and spend as much time as I can getting away from the rain by traveling to destinations all across the state where my family and I do tons of camping, boating, fishing, horseback riding, and even ATV riding. Many of the locations we camp at become the basis for my books. Most of my settings are fictional but based on a real place…and all are set in Washington State.

It seems we live at opposite corners of the country, but we can still be friends. Isn't technology great!

Now for the personal questions:

·         Coffee or tea?
COFFEE a pot a day keeps the doctor away…or something like that.

·         Dogs, Cats, or something different?
Dogs. Even though I spend way too much time fixing what my dog chews, steals, digs, destroys….maybe I meant cats.

·         Vampires, Cowboys, Kilts, or Men in Uniform?
Men in uniform…what more is there to say? They don’t even need to talk …sigh.

·         Sweet, spicy or something in between?
Sweet…I mean chocolate or hot sauce…no contest.

·         Do your heroes wear briefs, boxers, or go commando?
Hmm…can’t say I've ever contemplated that one…I guess I have some rewrites to do.
Umm, no commando. It would make me giggle too much.

So tell our visitors how they can contact you, (because I know they're going to want to).
