Liebster Award

My friend Christine Elaine Black nominated me for the Liebster Award. Apparently in German that means loved one, or favorite. Christine’s Blog

So this award is all about blogging and answering questions and also a game of "tag you're it". I love nominating people for awards and that's why I agreed to play and pick four of my favorite colleagues. So read the rules and the facts and then check out some blog links of other players.

Rules:
1. You must tell 11 things about yourself.
2. Answer the questions your nominator gives you.
3. Create 11 questions for the bloggers you nominate.
4. Choose new blogs with fewer than 200 followers and link them to your post.
5. If you’re nominated, please leave a comment on this post with the URL of your Liebster Award post.

Here goes:

Hot and sexy or sweet and romantic?
I love a good love story, but given a choice, I’ll go with hot and sexy.  All I require is a good storyline with an HEA.
Where would you live for one year if you had the chance to take on a whole new culture?
Being a Florida girl, I can’t tolerate cold weather or being too far from the water. The Bahamas would be a good choice for me.
Do you have any talents besides your amazing writing skills?
I’m the creative type. Give me wood, metal, yarn, or a needle and thread. I’ll make something.
One thing you could change about yourself?
I’d like to be more athletic. I was once told by my phys-ed teacher that I was the most uncoordinated person she’d ever known. Yes, I trip over nothing.
How many children do you have or want to have?
My husband and I each have a son and daughter. Together they’ve given us seven granddaughters. They’re between the ages of 11 and 18. We stay busy.
What were the best years of your life?
I’m not sure I’ve had them yet. Life just keeps getting better.
Favorite author and why?
If I had to pick just one, I’d say Lori Foster. She writes steamy books, all with unique stories and never ceases to make me laugh.
Pizza and beer or champagne and strawberries?
I’m a pizza and beer kind of girl. The more casual, the better. Add in a good football game and I’m in heaven.
How often do you visit your hair stylist?
Confession time: I cut my own hair. My 16 year old granddaughter highlights it occasionally.
Married or single?
I’ve been married to the love of my life for over 32 years. He’s a keeper.
Favorite activity other than writing romance?
My whole family are extremely competitive. I love games. Board games and cards are best.

I'm nominating...

What was the most surprising thing to ever happen to you?
What was the largest number of people who’ve lived with you/explain?
What hobbies do you have?
What author would you most like to spend a day with, (dead or alive)?
What was the best day of your life?

  1. You did a great job with the Liebster Blog, Sandy. (Why do I have to look at that word every time to make sure I spell it right?) One of my brothers lives in Florida and he doesn't like cold weather either. I loved reading all your answers - you have a fab lifestyle. Thanks for playing.

  4. Hello Sandy! I'm always game for something new :-) - so thank you for nominating me for this event, and I'll get on to your questions as soon as I can. It might just be tricky to think up some really neat new ones though... maybe I'll even pinch some of your great answers (just joking!)
