Each book in the trilogy features a different character though, and I really hate to think the series is finished, I grew fond of all the main charaters. There is one though who is nagging at me for his own story... could the trilogy become a quadrilogy? Thanks for a fascinating and thought provoking post.Hywela Lynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13789711554354184386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1905948468636389197.post-70630028254114097452019-06-29T08:09:55.960+11:002019-06-29T08:09:55.960+11:00Love your series, and I'm sad it's ending....Love your series, and I'm sad it's ending. I sometimes think I have a case of brand-new-itis, because I'm always happy with an all-new setting and cast of characters.Liz Flahertyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06794565644883272260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1905948468636389197.post-88028983005267525392019-06-28T01:41:05.424+11:002019-06-28T01:41:05.424+11:00Totally understand how you feel, Julie. Perhaps you could do a spin-off with the other characters? Or children? Wishing you continued success. Meredith [the heroine] has a daughter who is an absolute hoot. This third book will top them all. Promise. Good luck with the new series, Jules!! My Buffalo Steampunk Adventures series is running strong right now with book 7 about to be submitted, and book 8 already written. But when should it end? I asked my editor, who advised me not to put a cap on it. After all, look how many books were in Sir Terry Pratchett's Discworld series!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1905948468636389197.post-82484831136714826912019-06-27T23:25:53.261+11:002019-06-27T23:25:53.261+11:00I agree with you about series, but maybe you can d...I agree with you about series, but maybe you can do a spinoff with some of the characters you like?JENNIFER WILCKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16218241106543538422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1905948468636389197.post-55850316271739437002019-06-27T22:22:30.278+11:002019-06-27T22:22:30.278+11:00Ooh, love that excerpt! I hope they plan to make a third season. One of the book series I loved was the Amelia Peabody mysteries by wonderful, late, Elizabeth Peters.
